I spent New Year's Eve at this hotel, and I have to admit, the location was pretty convenient! It's right off the main road, making it easy to find, and there's a lovely park across the street for a nice stroll. The room itself was clean and the staff were friendly. Plus, the Wi-Fi worked great, which was a lifesaver for streaming the New Year's countdown!
The noise from the traffic was a bit annoying. I had trouble sleeping with all the sounds from the main road. I found the bathroom could’ve used a bit more TLC, as it felt a little dated. it was an okay stay, but the noise definitely detracted from the experience.

I was here for overnight stay, everything was perfect. The location of the hotel was central, near to the club and shops, clubs and eateries, and a park which is having updates to the play equipment. It also was so close to everything. Had facilities needed in my double room, including a work desk, a flat screen TV, and a seating area😃

A Nice Stay
During my visit to Gundagai, I was eager to explore the beautiful Anzac Grove War Memorial, which plays a significant role in Australia's history. I chose the Gabriel specifically for its proximity to the memorial, and I was pleasantly surprised by the warm hospitality of the staff. They were more than willing to assist with any questions I had and this made my trip even more enjoyable.
Room size was smaller than expected.

we had a decent stay at the gabriel, which was conveniently located. everything was tidy and we found the bed comfortable. the air conditioning worked well, and having a coffee shop just a couple of minutes away was a bonus. check-in was straightforward, especially since we arrived late. overall, the room size was good, and the cleanliness made for a pleasant experience, despite the room looking a bit dated.

The room was spotless—a amazing feat considering the circumstances. It was warm and inviting, even without heating, making for a comfortable night's sleep. the provided database made accessing essential information effortless, enhancing my overall experience and ensuring I had everything I needed for a relaxing overnight stay.
One minor drawback was the slightly limited Wi-Fi connectivity in some areas. While it didn't significantly detract from my experience, having better access would have made it easier to stay connected during my visit.

I had a comfortable stay with friendly staff and a clean, spacious room. The decor is basic, but it’s perfect for an overnight stop. Just a short walk to coffee shops, though the Wi-Fi could use improvement. A nice and cozy place on the road.

The lovely décor combined with the convenient layout made it easy for me to navigate, and I found the location perfect for exploring the charming shops and eateries nearby.
It would have been lovely if the children working there were more available.

I had a really enjoyable stay here! the location is awesome, just a short walk to local shops, great eateries, and a lovely park. the staff were super friendly, and we had a fantastic breakfast at the café nearby, even if it was served on paper plates and with plastic cutlery. It's definitely a charming spot compared to my previous stays!
I think a couple of improvements could be made. It would have been nice to have more storage space in the room, and I noticed the bathroom could really benefit from better ventilation.
